You will completely relax

The location with a view of the Berkel and meadows is so beautiful. You can completely relax in wonderful relaxing chairs. The cottage is beautiful, equipped with all conveniences. Everywhere mosquito nets in windows and doors, so you can open everything. Everything is well thought out and focused on the comfort of the guests.

Highly recommended if you like peace and quiet around you

What a relief! The location of the bungalow was fantastic. Completely unobstructed view. The bungalow also met expectations, nicely decorated with light. Excellent bathroom. Lovely garden furniture for the terrace. The reception was extremely friendly. The domain is located in a very beautiful part of the Netherlands, along the Berkel river.

Wonderfully relaxed

The location is in the middle of nature, close to Zutphen and Doesburg. These are very nice towns to visit. The studio was equipped with all comforts: we could cook, spacious bathroom, lovely (electric) sofa, lots of glass so also lots of light.

We really enjoyed the studio, but also the surroundings. Nice and quiet in a natural environment. Equipped with all conveniences. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended to go there.

Perfect for those seeking peace and nature lovers!

The grounds are very well maintained and generously divided with hedges and plants. There are numerous paths for cycling and walking. Nice places can be reached quickly by bike. It was very quiet during our stay, which we found very pleasant. Many reasons to come back here. Pure relaxation!

Very quiet location. The house and grounds are very well maintained. You can feel the attention to detail. Everything went very well. The colleagues were very happy and could relax well. The children played in the garden. One child even cried because he wanted to stay in the house so much.

Beautiful, fully equipped villa. Wonderful base for walking and cycling in the beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the peace and space. Large garden where it is nice to stay in the sun. Lots of privacy. Good electric bicycles for rent. Nice host. Perfect for both a short and a longer stay. In short, an ideal location.

Entire campsite is smoke-free, a big plus for us

Very nice and quiet campsite. We were with the camper and our dog. Beautiful spacious places. Entire campsite non-smoking, a big plus for us. Pleasant reception, nice atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings for walking and cycling. Almost on the Berkel, so water recreation is also possible. Easy to drive to via beautiful tree-lined avenues. Very clean sanitary facilities, good waste disposal facilities. Absolute top.

A gem among the campsites

A gem among the campsites. Super nice clean sanitary facilities. Electricity you pay afterwards based on use. In the area many walking and cycling routes. At 15 minutes cycling several villages such as Zutphen and Lochem. But also Almen is already nice with a Museum and a great restaurant. Large Spacious places with water and drainage. The places are equipped with grass, 1 part of which is paved. In the summer a nice terrace and in the winter Eco homes for rent.

Really a big domain... Beautiful place

We, my husband and I and our dog Tess, camped in April 2023 at a beautiful spot on the Berkel. Then we saw that there are three beautiful eco-homes for rent.

I immediately thought: I'm going to enjoy a weekend there with my daughter. So I booked a weekend in October 2024... We just got back, and it was fantastic! I can't think of anything that wasn't present in the beautiful house. And what a view from the beautiful, light house... Wonderful! What a party 🥳 to spend a weekend here.

The camping spots and the eco-homes will definitely stay in my mind. The lovely people who run this Domain are very friendly!

Achterhoekers are relaxed and friendly, which contributes to a pleasant holiday

Very neat, luxurious and quiet campsite in a beautiful environment. There is the possibility to rent a cottage or chalet, have a group BBQ or use the sauna. The prices are reasonable. Large camping pitches with 16 amps of electricity, water and sewer on the spot. Good and fast internet (free).

The campsite is located on the Berkel, where you can swim and canoe. Excellent base for walking and cycling tours in the beautiful surroundings. Zutphen and Deventer are around the corner, and Vorden, Lochem and Ruurlo can be reached quickly by bike. Also the possibility for yoga or contemplation sessions. Achterhoekers are relaxed and friendly, which contributes to a nice holiday.

An oasis of peace and beauty

Visited Domein Groot Besselink with the caravan for the first time this (after) summer, a fantastic experience. An oasis of peace and beauty. Beautiful spacious pitches with enough privacy and laid out with respect for nature.

Excellent sanitary facilities and the possibility for a great cup of coffee and lunch on Esther's terrace and on Sundays the possibility to treat yourself to fresh croissants and rolls. Furthermore, the personal attention of the owners for their guests should not go unmentioned.

Enjoyed the green surroundings and spent a lot of time in the garden

Rented a villa with the family, and friends of ours with their family rented the villa next door (total 4 adults and 4 children). Enjoyed the green surroundings and spent a lot of time in the garden. The villas were spacious and luxurious, with two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs - ideal with children. Just like the showers upstairs and downstairs by the way. There is plenty to do in the area.

The campsite itself is mainly for the peace. The family that runs it is very hospitable and helpful. All in all a very well deserved 5 stars!
