Smoke-free Camping
The first campsite where the entire site is smoke-free
At Domein Groot Besselink we attach great importance to a healthy, clean and fresh environment. That is why we chose to make our premises completely smoke-free right at our opening in 2017. This means that you will not encounter cigarette smoke anywhere within the domain – a unique and conscious choice that we are proud of.
Why smoke-free?
We all know that smoking and passive smoking are harmful to your health. We want to offer a place where everyone, young and old, can enjoy nature and the fresh Achterhoek air undisturbed.
- Healthy air for everyone: Non-smokers do not have to worry about cigarette smoke in their environment.
- A fresh start to the day: Wake up to the smell of morning dew and nature, without the disturbing influence of tobacco smoke.
- A relaxing stay: Our smoke-free environment contributes to peace, well-being and a clean living environment for all our guests.
With our smoke-free policy we create an environment that contributes to relaxation, tranquility and well-being for all our guests.
To avoid confusion
- All forms of smoking are not permitted on the premises. This includes e-cigarettes, vapes and other smoking products.
- This ban applies everywhere, so also inside, outside, next to, above or below your camping equipment.
- BBQs are allowed, but only if your neighbors are not bothered by this.
- The fire pit is during the season did not used for making fire.
A smoking area outside the premises
We understand that some guests would like to smoke. Outside the grounds there is a cozy gazebo where you can smoke under cover. Here you can enjoy a cigarette without disturbing other guests or affecting the smoke-free nature of our domain. This is an average of 200 meters walk from your spot or cottage.
